Not only is stress normal in the course of our lives, it is essential. Stress causes us to learn, grow and change for the better. Everyone experiences stress. Learning how to deal with stress is very important. When someone has more stress than they have the tools to handle, that can become an issue. It can lead to mental illness and other health issues. In therapy, we teach tools of coping with stress on a healthy level and how to use stress to your advantage in being successful in life.
